test animations update 2

Test animation of a head turn.

Quick 3 sec test shot of checking the room.

environment props 2

As mentioned before the original environment modeller has only been able to make about 3 quarters of the set, So I modelled some rubble myself in maya to decorate the set with.

Environment props update

Here are several screen shots of the progress of the environment. As I have stated before another 3d modeller has taken over the final stages of the set, modelling objects and props to make the building appear more run down and lived in. The objects modelled had been discussed and agreed upon by myself and the modeller before hand, as I emailed a list of objects which I wanted included in the set then gave the modeller himself some artistic lenience on what he could further create given time constraints.

close ups of villians body

As seen in the first image You can see how I have implimented the results of the survey into the creation of the models. The first being the view of the stomach which has been modelled to protrude slightly, rather then being completely flat like in the majority of female characters.
Their is also no definition with abdominal muscles either as this wasn't needed for the character to perform her actions. This is true for all of the muscles of both the villian and the hero, their is no outstanding definition with either of there physiques as the story/designs do not warrent them to have fully developed muscles.
The breasts and buttocks have also been modelled to realistic proportions with both charcaters, who share the same base frame as each other, only the villian is slightly more lean and taller than the hero.
This was done to make the villian appear more menacing with the slight difference in height and build. The legs of both characters are also disproportionately long, making then a small amount longer than the body. This was done just to add a degree of variation to the characters as designing them totally stylised would have been going against what my project aims are, which is to design a more realsitically proportioned set of female characters. But the slight difference in limb length wouldn't deter from that.
All of the points mentioned in the survey which I have addressed and implemented can be seen in the above screenshots.

hero and villian turn arounds

Here is a playblast turn around of the hero and villian base models. I will be animating these rigs by referencing them into the scenes, and as the modeller progresses with the characters I will recieve updates versions and just replace the old files with the new one and the models will be automatically updated.

more test animations

Here are some more playblasts of animation in progress. These are small clips that are renderd out quickly and in a lower quality so you can judge if your animation is flowing smoothly.

These are not the final animation but are clips of the scenes in progress.
